The Australian Technologies Competition welcomes scaleups and innovators from right across Australia to submit an entry before 20 May 2019; briefing explaining their technology, their solution, key customers and global potential.
(Entry is FREE and takes less than 15 minutes).
From here, a panel of 14 esteemed judges reviews each entry and shortlist 30+ semi finalists. Successful semi finalists are announced in June. In late June, each semi finalist is allocated their very own business mentor and invited to participate in a two-day workshop (July) that covers a wide range of business plan, commercialisation and pitching topics.
Following this intense workshop, semi finalists then prepare a concise 10-page Business Plan, receiving input and guidance from their appointed Mentor. Business Plans are submitted to our judging panel in August, who then determine finalists across a number of key award categories.
In Q4, successful finalists prepare to pitch in front of large audiences at end of year showcases, where our judges decide on the winners. As part of these events, partner connect sessions are held where finalists are introduced to a bespoke audience of corporates, VCs, angel investors, government trade organisations, commercialisation experts and interested stakeholders.
