Queensland shines bright in the 2018 Australian Technologies Competition


Queensland scaleups prove they are a force to be reckoned with, taking home four of seven Awards at the Australian Technologies Competition Showcase and Finals – held on November 15 at Sydney’s Australian National Maritime Museum. Agricultural mulch film producer Hydrox Technologies, engineering data management platform RedEye and steel processing company Advanced Robotic Technology were the Queensland trio that took home a combined total of four prestigious Awards on Thursday evening. Following an intense morning of mentoring and feedback from a range of entrepreneurs, VCs, angel investors, IP attorneys and corporate executives – 13 finalists presented to a roomful of 160 stakeholders and a panel of esteemed judges at this year’s Showcase.
