For those that don't know of LiVac, describe your solution in one sentence: "Our lead product, the LiVac Retractor is the only retractor in the world used in upper GI surgery that gently lifts solid organs using suction, minimising patient trauma and improving surgical outcomes."

What makes Victoria a great state for tech, innovation and business? "Traditionally a leader in manufacturing, Victoria has adapted to cultivate a technology community built on collaboration and support to bring innovative ideas to market. We have a strong startup ecosystem in the medtech sector that brings together founders, investors and industry experts to work together, underpinned by government investment. This strong focus on collaboration and support enables us to take world-leading medtech innovations out of Victoria and to the rest of the world."

What Melbourne-based organisation's have you been involved with?

"BioMelbourne Network’s Healthtech Reimbursement Program, Springboard Enterprises Accelerator Bootcamp & LaunchVic"

Complete this sentence. The Australian Technologies Competition is a valuable program because…. "it gave us access to mentors and guidance to further refine our business plan, enabled us to raise the profile of the business and provided us with access to a high-quality network of industry experts, investors and alumni. The key benefits for us though were that the program helped to bring new investors on board and increased existing investor confidence in the business."
