Frederic, a dual Australian French national, is an angel investor, mentor and a strategic advisor.  

Since 2015 Frederic has invested in several high growth start-up businesses in the food/Agri tech,  FMCG/Consumer goods and related industries.  

Frederic works closely with the founders acting as a mentor and helping them scale their businesses  while achieving profitability with a business development focus and a disciplined approach to capital  and resources management.

 

Before starting life as a business angel, Frederic held several senior executive positions at Intertek; a  London listed FTSE 100 Company, including CEO for Intertek Australasia where he managed a $200M  business with responsibility over 1200 staff in Australia, New Zealand and PNG. 

Frederic joined Intertek in 2011 as a result of the acquisition of Moody International where he was  an International Board Director holding a joint role of Regional Director for Africa as well as Group  Marketing Director. At Moody International Frederic was also managing the Company's Global Key Account Management programme across Europe, North America, Middle East and South East Asia. 

Previously Frederic was the CEO of EIKOS Services which he founded in 1999 - aged 24 - in the UK.  He went on to sell his company to Moody International in 2007. Frederic has travelled to more than  40 countries throughout his work and he enjoys the experience of meeting new people and  understanding different cultures.

Frederic, aged 47, lives in Sydney with his wife and two children. He is a keen cyclist and ocean  swimmer who rides regularly in the national parks in Sydney’s North shore or swims in Manly.  Frederic is involved in the community and he volunteers as a Patrol Captain Surf life saver at North  Curl Curl SLSC as well as been involved in sponsorship activities for the club. 

Frederic is an active mentor in Blackbird VC’s Startmate accelerator programme and he has  completed the Company Director course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
