Giles is a senior executive and technology leader who is passionate about helping disruptive technologies commercialise breakthrough IP globally.  Giles is the Managing Director of semiconductor innovator, BluGlass Limited (ASX:BLG), a Non-Executive Director of Australia's newest technology scale up fund and advisory business, Scalare Partners and also a Non-Executive Director of Ybern (a previous ATC finalist).

Giles has more than 20 years of international business development experience gained in the clean tech, technology and manufacturing sectors.  He is a specialist in developing offshore opportunities, securing expansion capital and establishing international partnerships, JVs and licensing deals for Australian business.

In 2013, BluGlass Limited was crowned Australia's best technology company, taking the top honours at the Australian Clean Tech Competition - now the Australian Technologies Competition (ATC).  In 2014, Giles joined the Judging Panel of the ATC.

Giles is both a founder and Non-Executive Director of Scalare Partners, a technology innovation partner that funds, resources and helps scale exceptional game-changers who are preparing to disrupt globally - enabling a smarter, cleaner, more connected future.  Scalare's long term, hands-on partnership model provides early stage investments and critical resources to emerging tech companies.
